Legacy: The Abdo R. Zeidan Story
Our story begins in 1947 when Abdo R. Zeidan opened up his doors in the old gold souks of Beirutās Central District. Working among stalls of busy goldsmiths, diamond setters and artisans, Abdo R. Zeidan made a name for himself in Lebanonās renowned jewelry hub. A family business from the very beginning, Abdo alongside his four sons, skilled in both jewelry making and gemology, developed their own style working with talented craftsmen and incorporating a wide variety of gemstones into their work.
Chapter Two:
Ramzi Zeidan & Co. Emerges
In 2001, Beirut witnessed the opening of Ramzi Zeidan & Co. not far from where it all began. Just a few doors down from the historic gold souk, Ramzi brought his vision to life, artisanally designing and creating vibrant fine jewellery made with carefully selected gemstones. Sharing the same passion as their father,Ā Rana and Karen Zeidan later joined the team, bringing fresh new ideas. With a background in jewelry design and an expertise in gemology, the Zeidan sisters had the perfect platform.
ZED: The Modern Chapter
In 2014, soon after joining the family business, the sisters were eager to leave a mark as designers in the industry.
With an atelier of the finest goldsmiths and an infinite array of gemstones at their fingertips, the possibilities were endless. The sisters began sketching and creating pieces for themselves that they felt reflected their own unique personal styles.
Geometric silhouettes and effortless refined forms soon became the designersā main aesthetic.
Today, Zed has evolved into its very own global brand, connecting East and West with a strong foothold in the US. This vibrantĀ brand continues to incorporate all the elements of traditional luxury into daywear fine jewelry from one atelier to the world.Ā
